Im updating n7 cluster on fri & syf outreach on sat naooooo!

Before we head to rp, Jiahui & Lilan came to give us their support, exchanged hugs!! Cabbed to rp w Mdm Liu, took some time to settle down. Watched some of the solo category rehearsals, mad amazed by their skills.


This was how close the judges and audiences were away frm us. Clarified some things with the coordinator and the logistics then headed to our resting room w WGSSB.




So all the resting rooms were labelled w ' No food and drinks are allowed ', then jus as one of the band member opened his packet of snacks and eating away, a fuchun pri (hosting sch of n7 cluster 2010) boy came in, ' please do not eat in the room! ' LOL! immediatally got caught on the spot! Ms Seow was saying ' you don't feel paiseh being lectured by a little boy?! ' everybody went laughing away.

yangqin-ers, saxaphones and jazz band members w8ed in the room for our turn for rehearsals!! Oh and did i mentioned tht thr's water cooler, cabinets(w rolls of tissues) and a sink in the room? i think thr's only left w a stove and a bed HAHAHA.

Rehearsal went smoothly! As yangqin ensemble was the last to perform, we left our yangqins at the side of the stage while Anne and Choonhup arrived! Thanks Choonhup for the 'treat' :))))) and Anne for helping us for the final tuning of yangqins :D

Went for our dinner @ Artbites, had a good dinner w yangqin-ers, Mdm Liu & Anne :)


Started to dress up aft our meal while the competition was starting. Everyone was mad nervous and stress!!!! ;__; thanks to Choonhup and Jingye fr trying to chill us down by telling jokes and giving alot of advices before it's finally our turn. So relieved aft it was over!!!!!!!! Then everyone started to sulk over the mistakes we did, however we're still glad tht we completed it no matter what :) band was cheering for us as we returned to the room!

Results were reading out.

For Secondary Ensemble category, 3rd place goes to.......... WOODGROVE SECONDARY SAXAPHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd place goes to........... WOODGROVE SECONDARY JAZZ BAND!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally we have our 1st place, goes to................................................. WOODGROVE SECONDARY YANGQIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really can't believed that we've achieved the champion for secondary ensemble, we're like screaming away in the backstage while wgsco ppl were also screaming at the same time among the audiences, i was jumping in joy!!!!!! shook hands w choonhup, jingye and band!!!

While we're outside our resting room, teachers were dashing towards us screaming excitedly!! Long hugs frm Mdm Ang ^^ rlly can't get anymore high-er during that moment.

CHEERS FOR AWESOME YANGQIN-ERS!!!!!!!!!! I believed the judges must have felt the chemistry between us, our hearts and efforts being put in the song. We did a gr8 job, I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!


Specially thanks Choonhup alot for coming down to show support fr us, telling us off when we felt tht we couldn't make it, telling us jokes to ease our mood down, giving us advices again and again, and fr believing in us. Not anything can express our gratitude towards you. :)

Aft moving our instruments, Choonhup, Jingye, Jinxiang, Joan, Shenyu, Ragan, Eileen, Farhanah and me were squeezing inside a lorry!!!! LOL mad fun as we got high and cheered over and over again!

Reached sch and aft returning the instruments back to co room which was arnd 11pm alr! Mdm Liu helped us to check our vouchers and discover tht we actually had $500 worth popular vouchers O_O!!! which means jus nice every member get $100! LOL shiok a not??? :DDDDDD
